The Purpose Collective

Mar 7, 2023

Purpose and impact go hand in hand. When you are operating in your purpose you will have an impact on the lives of others. That's just how purpose works. Our purpose fulfills a need in the kingdom, which means that for the most part, the people you are called to serve are stuck until you show up for them through your purpose. While purpose fulfills you, it isn’t solely for you. It’s the people whose lives you are called to impact. I had a great conversation with Maya Elious that really showed how one person and impact lives and change the world.

Maya Elious is a personal branding strategist and the CEO of Built To Impact, a coaching and consulting company that helps faith-based female entrepreneurs build a high-end coaching business.

Through her 6-month accelerator program and her signature live event Impact Weekend, she’s helped hundreds of clients get clear on their message, confidently increase their prices, and have successful five-figure launches.

She’s been featured as a top branding expert in publications like Black Enterprise, Forbes, and Business Insider. Her main mission is to help women monetize their gifts so they can create impact and build wealth.

When she’s not helping her clients build their online empire, she can be found traveling, spending time with her family, or watching medical dramas Hulu.

In this episode, we discussed:

  • Maya's entrepreneurship journey
  • How she discovered her work was creating an impact for others
  • What impact means to her
  • Her purpose and where it fits in her life
  • What keeps her going in pursuit of her purpose
  • How she ensures her purpose and being the CEO of two businesses doesn't eclipse the time she spends with God
